Code of Conduct

Purpose

Upfront Sports is dedicated to fostering a respectful, safe, and inclusive environment for all individuals associated with our programs, both online and in person. This Code of Conduct is intended to set clear expectations, create a positive culture, and provide a basis for any necessary corrective action. By participating in Upfront Sports programs or using our services, you agree to comply with this Code of Conduct.

1. Respect and Fair Treatment

  • Participants, coaches, staff, and visitors must treat each other with respect and integrity at all times, refraining from behavior that may be offensive, hostile, or discriminatory.
  • Differences in skill level, background, opinions, and experiences should be honored. Upfront Sports is committed to inclusivity and fair treatment for all participants.

2. Anti-Harassment and Anti-Discrimination Policy

  • Upfront Sports has zero tolerance for any form of harassment, bullying, or discrimination. This includes but is not limited to harassment or discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, or physical ability.
  • Any form of abusive language, physical aggression, or unwelcome conduct may result in immediate removal from Upfront Sports programs.
  • Complaints or concerns regarding harassment or discrimination can be reported confidentially to Upfront Sports administration. All reports will be investigated and handled in compliance with applicable law.

3. Commitment to Fair Play and Accountability

  • Participants must adhere to the rules and guidelines provided by Upfront Sports staff, trainers, and program leaders.
  • Players and parents are expected to follow a high standard of sportsmanship, both in competition and practice settings.
  • Unsportsmanlike conduct, dishonesty, or interference with other participants’ development may result in disciplinary action, including warnings or removal from the program.

4. Digital and Social Media Conduct

  • Participants must exercise responsible and respectful online behavior when engaging with Upfront Sports or discussing its programs.
  • Negative or defamatory remarks about Upfront Sports, staff, or other participants on social media or other online platforms are prohibited.
  • Unauthorized sharing or publication of confidential program materials or participant information is strictly forbidden.

5. Confidentiality and Privacy

  • Personal and performance information shared through Upfront Sports programs is confidential and should not be shared publicly or used in ways that violate privacy rights.
  • Any breach of confidentiality may lead to termination of program access or further legal action to protect the privacy rights of Upfront Sports participants and staff.

6. Use of Upfront Sports Facilities and Resources

  • Facilities, equipment, and resources provided by Upfront Sports must be used responsibly and for their intended purposes only.
  • Damages or misuse of property may result in fees, and Upfront Sports reserves the right to pursue legal action in cases of intentional damage.

7. Consequences of Non-Compliance

  • Upfront Sports reserves the right to impose disciplinary measures, which may include warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from our programs, for any breach of this Code of Conduct.
  • In cases where conduct may constitute a violation of applicable law, Upfront Sports reserves the right to involve local law enforcement and seek legal remedies.

8. Waiver of Liability

  • By participating in Upfront Sports activities, all participants and guardians acknowledge and accept that participation in athletic and physical activities carries inherent risks. Upfront Sports is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages incurred during program activities unless caused by proven negligence.
  • Participants are encouraged to have their own medical insurance, and parents/guardians are responsible for minors’ participation.
